Every afternoon, 15 million kids in America leave school
with no place to go. The good news is...

Today, July 31, Boys & Girls Clubs announces the launch of the Great Futures Campaign, an initiative to help reach more kids in need during critical times when school is out. Our organization wants to ensure that every child and teen has access to a safe place after school and during the summer where they can build the knowledge, skills and behaviors to put them on the right path for success.

Summer Brain Gain Success!

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley has received recent media attention around the success of Brain Gain! Last year, we piloted the Summer Brain Gain program to help prevent learning loss for our kids. More than 60 middle school students participated in the program, which encourages learning through discovery, creative expression, group work and a final project that changes every week.

This success inspired BGCTNV to expand the program to 10 sites serving 400 youth in elementary and middle school age groups this summer.
