Club Blue

What is Club Blue?

Club Blue is a social networking group that drives awareness and raises funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley (BGCTNV).  We volunteer our time and expertise to give back to BGCTNV through a variety of service activities.  We engage in networking socials and special events that ultimately benefit local underprivileged and at-risk children.  We party with a purpose to help change lives.

Club Blue hosts approximately six social networking events and a major fundraiser each year, while also participating in other existing fundraising events such as Angel Tree and the Great Knoxville Rubber Duck Race.  And, Club Blue offers a unique mentoring program called Vision3.  Participants are paired with successful community members and provided the opportunity to mentor a Boys & Girls Club teen.

The $35 annual membership fee will be renewed once a year from the date you join.  Members get special discounts to our social networking events and can join our leadership committees!  Discounts also apply at area merchants.  Plus, it’s just cool to be a member.

What is Vision3?

Club Blue offers a unique mentoring program to members called Vision3.  Club Blue members are paired with a Boys & Girls Club board member and are provided with the opportunity to mentor a Boys & Girls Club teen.
The name Vision3 is based on the three tiers of participants.
 
Vision3 Promise:
Vision3 is a unique mentoring program that encourages professional and personal relationships among Club Blue members, area professionals who are affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs, and Boys & Girls Club members.  This is an elite group chosen through an application process.  
 
Vision3 Expectations:
Be a member of Club Blue.
Be available for periodic meetings with your individual mentor as well as small group meetings.
Be committed to the mentor relationship you have with a teen member of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Your mentor will empower you to succeed, and the Boys & Girls Club member with whom you work will depend on you to succeed.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley chapter of Club Blue was founded in 2008. The original Club Blue was founded in December 2007 by Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. For more information visit www.clubblue.org.
