Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley…
· currently serves 6,261 members, ages 5 to 17 years, throughout the Tennessee Valley area, including Knox, Blount, Loudon, Fentress, and North Anderson Counties.
· requires an operating budget of $6.8 million

provides over 501,635 USDA hot meals and snacks annually
o For many youth, this is the only nutritious meal received outside of school
o Four located within public housing developments
o Three located within school facilities
o Eight free-standing Club facilities
o Two Teen Centers
o Richard L. Bean Detention Center (one of three of its kind in the nation)
- employs over 230 trained, professional, caring staff and welcomes over 1,200 volunteers annually
- transports members from 60 schools in Knox County, Blount County and Loudon County
- provides programs for Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation
